A Royal Exhibit

I, like my mother, are huge fans of anything dealing with royalty, most particularly the British Monarchy. Who doesn't love all things princessy and real life fairy tales?

Last spring I was so thrilled for the Royal Wedding I stayed up all night with my girlfriends sipping tea and eating scones while watching Prince William wed Kate Middleton.  Then this past summer my family took a trip to London during the time when Buckingham Palace was open to the public and got to see Kate's wedding dress in person! So I was beyond excited when I found out that there was going to be a Princess Diana exhibit at the Mall of America and her wedding dress was going to be displayed.

I recently visited the exhibit with my mother, nana, and sister and it was amazing!  We saw memoirs from her childhood, countless memorable gowns she wore, jewels, tiaras, and ahhhhh "the dress".  Unfortunately the exhibit is now over at M.O.A. but it looks like it's on tour, more information regarding the exhibit and tour dates can be found here.
